Merge9 (also known by it's trade name Empathin) is one of the drugs available in Bay City. Miriam Bancroft, many female meths, all female Synths, and prostitutes secrete this drug when they are aroused.

Miriam uses this drug to seduce Takeshi Kovacs and seduce him into making love to her while being watched by a bug.
